Tukkies is the only true club team that plays in international tournaments. Only club players were used in the 2009 Dubai tournament. Tukkies is also seen as a force in international women’s rugby. Sadly as we are only a club, provinces and SARU prevented us from using 4 of our key players during the Hong Kong sevens.
Thailand is one of the top rugby countries in Asia and beat France 22-7. Tukkies beat Thailand 33-0.
