Checkers opened its third supermarket in Roodepoort at the brand-new Kwena Square Mall creating 54 new jobs.
Conveniently located in Little Falls, near the 14th Avenue exit, the new store provides quick access for customers travelling from the north and south.
Checkers Kwena Square offers customers an elevated shopping experience with several fresh food departments with a wide selection including a Meat Market, Hot & Cold Foods Deli, Bakery, Fresh Fruit and Vegetables and a Money Market counter providing several services.
With a total of 123 employees, the store is managed by Vimlan Govender who joined the retailer in 2018 as a trainee manager.
Checkers Kwena Square’s trading hours are:
Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 –20:00
Saturdays: 08:00 – 20:00
Sundays: 08:00 –20:00
