Pretoria on MyPR: The South African Veterinary Association Community Veterinary Clinic receives over 1000 BravectoR doses as part of the #BravectoCares campaign.:

On Friday 21 May 2021, the South African Veterinary Association Community Veterinary Clinic (SAVA-CVC) was pleased to have received over 1000 Bravecto® Spot-On for Dogs doses as part of the #BravectoCares campaign.

With the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current economical challenges, welfare and non-profit organisations are struggling to meet their outreach objectives with regular donor funding drying up. To ease the financial burden and support South Africa’s heroic animal welfare community, Bravecto® has stepped in and donated more than R9 million worth of Bravecto® stock, from May – October 2021.

SAVA-CVC Director, Claudia Cloete and Manager, Vhonani Manenzhe, accepted the tail-wagging donation of 1379 doses of Bravecto® Spot-On for Dogs which will go a long way in protecting community canines from ticks, fleas and mites.

“It is an honour to be part of this great initiative from Bravecto®. As a veterinary association, our responsibility is to support veterinarians that provide education and primary veterinary care for animals in low-income communities. The donation from Bravecto® will assist us greatly in the fight against ticks and fleas”, says SAVA-CVC Director, Claudia Cloete.
