Pretoria on MyPR: The Fabulous Woman Awards Are Open for Nominations:
The Fabulous Woman Awards are back to celebrate its 10th Anniversary since the awards launched.
The awards celebrate and honour women and girls who possess ethical leadership, vision, philanthropy, innovation, excellence and entrepreneurial drive with the ultimate goal being to present role models for other women to aspire to throughout South Africa.
Now in their 10th year, the Fabulous Woman Awards allow women from different sectors and industries to come together for an evening of celebration to recognise outstanding women and girl leaders making a difference in communities and the valuable contribution they make to the economic life of South Africa.
The 10th awards will be held at The Capital Menlyn Maine in Pretoria, on Saturday the 6th August 2022 and are guaranteed to be the biggest celebration to date.
The awards, which are the brainchild of Pretoria born award-winning businesswoman and philanthropist Pontsho Manzi started in 2013 through her foundation, Fabulous Girls Foundation. Manzi’s foundation has been helping and inspiring women and young people, particularly girls from disadvantaged backgrounds to dream beyond their current circumstances, build their leadership skills and to continue to uphold their integrity not only in schools but also in every aspect of their lives.
The awards, which are taking place later this year, are calling for nominations for the following categories:

• Sta-So-Fro Fabulous Women Empowerment Award
• Fabulous Woman End Gender Based Award
• Fabulous Woman of the Year Award
• Fabulous Girl of the Year Award
• Fabulous Woman in Health Award
• Fabulous Woman Global Impact Award
• Fabulous Woman of the Soil
• Fabulous Woman Resilience Award
With Armscor, Nedbank, Bic Soleil, Sta-So-Fro, Bulgari and Anton Smit Sculpture being this year’s sponsors, this year’s ceremony promises to be a night to remember for these women who are empowering the nation, one girl at a time.
