The blue beast is the Red Bull X1 prototype, designed by Adrian Newey, presented today in Madrid, along with the Playstation 3 game Gran Turismo 5.
It’s meant to be the ultimate racing car, though it’s not a working model, at least outside GT5.
I was there the day before to shoot some pictures, but the car wasn’t there yet. I discovered the car was going to be there today, from 9 to 6, which is the time I’m supposed to be at my office.
Chris (toffi:xc) convinced me I shouldn’t miss this chance, so I asked my father if he could go and take some pictures of it. So here they are.
