I bought a 10 pack of these little Red Bull bottles from an Asian market near my house. I usually drink Red Bull before dance practice so I have enough energy to get through it. I thought it was rather unique that the Red Bull at that market came in little brown bottles. Kind of like old cough syrup.
I brought them home and had one. I have to admit it’s not as tasty as the canned ones you get at your local supermarket or gas station. These ones actually taste more like cough syrup, so I’m forced to swig it down as fast as possible. Kind of like a shot.
What about the energy? Well it takes a bit longer to kick in, but also, it doesn’t last as long as the canned stuff.
The verdict? I’ll probably never buy these again for dance practice.. But if I have an assignment or project I need to be alert for for a small amount of time, I’d consider cracking one of these open for a quick swig of energy.
