Eric James Leffler and I went out on sort of a flash photography walk yesterday evening, it’s much like a photo walk but involves creating scenes using fun locations and lights.
Most of the evening was spend creating that perfect scene – subtle glowing light that brings out the subject, nicely saturated skies, great backdrops .. but as the end of the evening approached I went "heck lets try something crazy" and I reached for my more theatrical sensibilities.
The fedora hat, the long coat, the pier – they all already had the look and feel of a mystery novel set in the 50’s, so I ran with that feeling and came up with this.
