Labeled as "Australian cattle dog pit bull mix", this blue merle mix is most likely a catahoula leopard cur dog mix or hog dog, possibly a pit bull terrier hybrid but definitely not Australian Cattle dog or heeler mix. Catahoulas mixed with pit bulls are common here in Houston and this dog deserved "catahoula mix" or "cattle dog mix" to allow adoption, instead of being killed after three days due to being called a "pit bull mix".
