The imposing Gate of Untash, entrance to the ziggurat of Chogha Zanbil, or temple of Inshushinak, was once lined with a dual collonade. Today only the bases remain, while one of the pairs of bulls that graced the entrance can now be found in the Iranian National Museum. One can only imagine the impact of this ziggurat originally, glistening in its blue glazed bricks against the deep blue sky…
