E. Meyers, U. S. Dairy Division. A common objection met is, |Ttstoo much work. Such an objectioncomes from a person who does notunderstand the working of an associ-ation because there is no extra workrequired of the farmer that is worthcalling extra work. The tester weighsall feed and milk and keeps the re-cord. All the extra time that is re-quired of the farmer is that he spenda little time each month studying hisrecord book. But I am sure that thisis the time well spent. Most of themembers of an association do spend alittle extra time with the cows theday the tester is there, but this is notnecessary, yet it is time for whichthe farmer gets good pay in the end. Another objection that is broughtup is, It costs to much. Some saythat if they pay out .50 per cow forthe test that
