So, here we are, the middle of August…in Pretoria, South Africa…which is at almost 26° South…which means it’s winter. This little info nugget popped into my mind right in the middle of packing. Fortunately, all we needed were a couple of hoodies. The Ostrich on the other hand, I am pretty sure was (a) being social and (b) gathering heat from the engine. Never the less, it was cute. This is at the Rovos main station, which serves as the railyard, maintenance facility and a little bit bird rehablitation center. Unadvertised I might add, just a bonus for me.
