Old farm machinery and a granary in the background.It rained the night before and I was afraid the jeep trip would get cancelled. But our guide, T.J., with Beauty Way, navigated us through some strong running creeks and deep mud. The sky was very overcast, with only patches of sunshine now and again. Because we told the guide we especially wanted to see rock art, he took us through Canyon Del Muerto. I hope to go back some day and do a horseback tour but the weather would definitely have to be a little better. Still, no complaints. This place is a must-do, and the jeep tour really got us up close and personal with the ruins and rock art.
