What is amazing is most everyone posting below that his is not near the singer he used to be ….. and you are correct. But when you dont compare him against himself but other vocal talent out in the world today, he is still in the top 5%!

Geoff sounds great in this setting.  For a man approaching sixty his voice is in fantastic shape and honestly it can't be expected for him to sound like he's twenty-five.  Each time I've met him he has been nothing but a major dick but, damn, that voice.  Legendary singer, legendary dick.

Geoff rules. I always wanted to hear acoustic Geoff. I know alot of people put him down but he is fuckin amazing as a songwriter and singer. I like the new Queensryche also but it will never be the same.

Reaching back for glory doesn't work here. Either write new songs, or fade. Super pitchy vocals all over the place.

Tate the man that ran Queensryche in the ground for 15 years , thank god the rest of the Ryche fired his ass how about the show when he was spitting on his bandmates ?. I’ve been with Queensryche from day 1 the EP and the tour opening for Twisted Sister saw them 12 times over the years . Good luck Geoff wish you the best great memories . But i love the current Queensryche andTodd LaTorre .

I love Queensryche, and Geoff Tate, and there's very little to change that, they've put in the work. But honestly, I;m not into the acoustic thing with this band. I liked the drums, bass, and two screaming guitars, with Geoffs vocals. So many good songs, I guess he wanted to do a different version of himself. I just don't like it much.

nice QR acoustic coverband haha 😉 …sure he is still a great singer but performing on and on the old QR stuff shows his new stuff cannot come any close to the classic material….performed in whatever form
