Pretoria on MyPR: 2021 Fabulous Woman Awards Winners Announced:
In celebration of outstanding achievements during a tremendously challenging and unpredictable time, The Fabulous Woman Awards announced the winners of the 9th Annual Fabulous Woman Awards 2021. The awards were presented at a Virtual Awards celebration on Saturday, August 7, 2021.Winners of the 9th Annual Fabulous Woman Awards were chosen from hundreds of notable nominations. Evaluation of submitted nominations and selection of finalists and the winners were completed by an independent judging panel made up of renowned experts in the field, Ms Ria Ledwaba, Mr Ashraf Garda, Dr Michael Mol, Ms Busisiwe Raphekwane and Ms Marina Prinsloo.
“The awards pride itself in recognizing outstanding and excellent women and girls making a difference in communities, society and the world. The Covid-19 pandemic introduced new challenges however these inspirational women and girls have been rising above it all and making notable impact in their line of work. Truly, these winners represent the excellent Fabulous Woman” said Pontsho Manzi, Founder of The Fabulous Woman Awards.
The Fabulous Woman Award Winners for 2021 are:
1. Fabulous Woman of the Year 2021- Portia Mngomezulu (PortiaM Skin Solutions)
2. Fabulous Woman Job Creation Award 2021- Thandeka Nombanjinji-Nzama (Mbokodo Building)
3. Fabulous Woman Global Impact Award – Gladys Agulhas (Agulhas Theatre Works)
4. Fabulous Woman in Health Award – Dr Mathobela Matjekane (Clinimed Medical and Aesthetics Solutions Works)
5. Sta-Sof-Fro Fabulous Women Empowerment – Sinegugu Ngcobo ( Isibani Sentsha)
6. BIC Soleil Fabulous Woman Humanitarian Award- Lydia Hlongwane (I.C.A.R.E)
7. Fabulous Woman Resilient Award – Linda Maponyane (Kenako Media)
8. Fabulous Girl of the Year – Njabulo Zulu (Njabulo 14)
