Johannesburg – Volkano took the Randburg Harriers Challenge to another level, transforming the event into a celebration of fitness, community, and fun. With over 75 Volkano Team runners joining more than 6,000 participants, it was a day filled with energy and camaraderie.
Runners could choose from three distances: 5 km, 10 km, and 21.1 km, and Volkano proudly showcased its largest corporate running team yet. This speaks volumes about the brand’s dedication to encouraging active living and supporting South Africa’s vibrant running scene. But it wasn’t just about the race itself. Volkano set up an exciting activation stand that featured a variety of their latest products from Bluetooth speakers and headphones to smartwatches, even kids’ smartwatches.
Attendees also had the chance to snag exclusive Volkano caps, making the day even more special. One of the highlights of the event was the Volkano Water Point, where runners were greeted with refreshing hydration and the unmistakable buzz of a Volkano vibe. With pumping music from Volkano party speakers and cheers from enthusiastic supporters, this spot became one of the most exciting places on the route, giving participants that extra boost as they approached the finish line.
A spokesperson for Volkano shared, “Our aim wasn’t just to show up at the event. We wanted to immerse ourselves in the experience. Whether it was our team running alongside everyone, cheering everyone on, or creating a lively water point, the day perfectly embodied what Volkano stands for — uniting people through energy, community, and shared experiences.”
