Despite encountering operational challenges, including a market shortage of liquid chlorine gas cylinders beyond the City’s control, the majority of public swimming pools remained accessible throughout the season. - Mamelodi West

- Saulsville
- Soshanguve
- Sunnyside
- Tjaard van Vuuren
- Zita Park
- Zithobeni
Meanwhile, Hillcrest Swimming Pool temporarily closed on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, to allow for essential renovations at the facility. The said renovations entail improvements to the grandstand, ablution facilities and administrative offices to ensure the facility’s compliance with applicable health and safety regulations.
Simultaneously, Laudium Swimming Pool also closed on Wednesday, 1 April 2026, due to inevitable repair work that needs to be carried out.
