On Wednesday, 15 July 2026, the City of Tshwane will carry out a tie-in connection of a newly installed pipeline to the existing water reticulation system in the Waterkloof East Reservoir supply zone.
This connection is scheduled for 14 hours, from 08:00 to 22:00.
The following areas will be affected:
- Alphenpark
- Brooklyn
- Garsfontein 374-JR
- Hazelwood
- Maroelana
- Maroelana Ext 3
- Waterkloof
Residents are encouraged to use water sparingly during this period and to adopt the following water-saving measures:
- Do not water or irrigate gardens with hosepipes or sprinkler systems between 06:00 and 18:00.
- Do not wash vehicles using hosepipes.
- Do not fill swimming pools.
- Where possible, continue using grey water for watering gardens and flushing toilets.
- Report water leaks, burst pipes and any incidents of water wastage to the City.
- Install water-saving devices where possible.
