Depleted Titans seek Cobras lift

THE Unlimited Titans have been worst hit by national call-ups in recent weeks, but coach Rob Walter admits it will not be used as an excuse ahead of their vital Momentum One-Day Cup clash against the Cape Cobras at Sahara Park Willowmoore in Benoni on Friday.
Several of their players are currently involved in the Momentum One-Day International series against England, while others like Albie Morkel are injured, although the captain had also been picked by the national team before he joined the crocked list.

The Titans, currently fifth on the table and six points behind the log-leading Cobras, lost their last outing to the Warriors by 14 runs on Sunday. With Dean Elgar, Theunis de Bruyn and Qaasim Adams now back from South Africa ‘A’ duty, the Titans coach at least has some reinforcements for a game they simply have to win.aul Adams welcomes back Dane Vilas and Wayne Parnell for the game.The Cobras coach expects the Titans to be very competitive despite their current troubles.
